Mariner Too Picks Up Owners Day

It was the worst of times.  It was the best of times.  The 2010 season came to an end about a year overdue as Mariner Too took home the Gold Cup.  

Owner Jeff Dunn, until the Final Heat, was having a terrible day.  Jeff is (apparently) responsible for "all things computer" and, well...there were software issues that caused a 3 hour delay (...a three hour delay...).   Y'know,,,these ARE model boats were taking about.

Mark Weber's fleet ALL QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL!  This left Jeff and his little Mariner Too with a daunting task.  But, have no fear.  Jeff's number 1 fan for the day, Mark Miller, was the main turn judge in turn 1.  This is priority one if you're going to win facing these odds.

But Mark Weber was also a winner as Terry Troxell's Hallmark Homes II - built by Mark, won the 2010 High Point Championship...a hard-fought duel between Mark and Mark Miller's Miss Burien.

And the "Hot Shoe" award goes to John Bridge.  John nailed almost EVERY start!

Congrats to all...and THANK YOU to Hank Kosciuszko for hosting the race AGAIN!

And given that we are behind schedule about a year...the WORD OF THE DAY for all Casper competitors is "SCHEDULE".
